The blade, which features cement infused teeth can literally rip through the thickest, toughest metals. On 10 gauge sheets and 1/4 inch steel plates, the Milwaukee 6370-21 glides through like cutting butter. Even on 3/4 inch steel plates, the 6370 stands tall, and if proper cutting techniques are employed, the machine will slice through these thick plates as well.
This model delivers a particularly big bang for its buck, but with the money that it will save you, in the long run, it is well worth it. The 6370 lowers your price per cut from 60 cents to around 20 cents, so every time you put it to use, you save money. This new blade lasts 25 times longer than a standard abrasive wheel.

This model features a magnesium blade shield that efficiently collects the refuse metal shavings. Delivering a cooler cut means that there are no more wild sparks flying through the air to distract you as you cut. Anyone who has worked with a metal cutting saw is sure to be pleased by this little perk. A cooler cut also means that there is minimal burning, and virtually no post cut finishing to do.
Any device will, however, have drawbacks, although the only one I can see with this saw is that the blade adjustment can be a little off at times. Other than that the cool cutting, super high rpm’s, and cost saving blade is more than enough to make up for this minor problem.
Here is what a customer had to say of the Milwaukee 6370-21 in their review:
By Alfred Turner of New York
” I had some metal plates that I wanted to cut, they were a quarter inch thick steel plates. I went to my garage and pulled out my jigsaw, I then began cutting the metal and after I went through the original blade I went to the store and bought another pack of blades, a five pack.
After about three hours I only cut out three plates that measured 10 inches by 10 inches. I then called a metal cutting specialist and they told me that to do the job they would charge me about 200 dollars. I then began to think about purchasing a new saw.
My frustration was easily cured when I went to purchase the Milwaukee 6370-21. I went back to the house and began cutting the metal and after about 15 minutes I was finished with the entire job! I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a quality saw that will cut through the toughest metals. I didn’t experience any problems with the saw at the time of the cutting.
I haven’t experienced any problems with it since then either, and I have done several projects with it since then. The blade does in fact zip right through metal and when you are finished you don’t have to do a lot of finishing of the surface that you cut either.
This was a definite plus to the Milwaukee 6370-21 as it cut down on the entire length of time that projects take. It is surely a great buy at the price, you will definitely be impressed with this product and the job that it does”
It’s is a winner as far as price and quality is concerned. If you need a good saw to do some serious metal cutting then you should definitely purchase this circular saw. The Milwaukee 6370-21 is a workhorse and a money saver at the same time.
